Backstreet Café Supports the Veterans' Memorial

More than 100 supporters of the Committee to Honor America’s Veterans enjoyed a scrumptious buffet at the Backstreet Café in Sunset Beach. Owner Steve Cuozzo hosted the dinner to support the Memorial being built in the Sunset Beach Town Park. “I believe in this project,” said Cuozzo, “and wanted to make a significant contribution.”
Diners feasted on a buffet that included Cuozzo’s signature dish Anthony’s Chicken, eggplant rollotini, pasta Bolognese, roasted potatoes, vegetables, salad, and a variety of desserts. Dinner organizers Steering Committee member Jay Kerr and 2nd Vice Chairperson Karen Joseph praised Cuozzo’s commitment to the Memorial. “Steve was a pleasure to work with and the Committee appreciates his support of our fund raising. Diners praised the menu, the service, and the ambiance of the Café. Steve’s contribution of $1,500 is a wonderful gift to the Memorial.”
